SAT Homework

SAT10-- Next week, you will have TWO SAT classes because Tuesday and Friday's schedule are switched.

You should finish all your example sentences for the vocab words this Monday.


SAT11- You should finish all your example sentences for the vocab words this Monday. We will continue to work on them in class. You also must be ready to turn in your essay evaluations on Monday

10th Grade Weekend Homework Assignments

10A and 10B:

DUE MONDAY: Read 'Upon His Departure Hence' on 181,182 and The Destruction of Sennacherib on 183.

10A, you must have the comprehension questions for these poems finished by Monday.


10B, you must have these questions done by Tuesday.

9th Grade Weekend Homework

9A
Due Monday: Read 'Faith' (p.361) and 'Hope' (p.390) in your textbook and then do the comprehension questions for the poem.
Due Tuesday: Read 'Doubting Castle' (355-360) and do the comprehension questions for the story.

9B
Due Tuesday: Read 'Faith' (p.361) and 'Hope' (p.390) in your textbook and then do the comprehension questions for the poem.

You should also read 'Doubting Castle' (355-360) because we will be covering that once the Field Trip is over.

9th Grade Homework for 10/20-10/23

9A: You must read 'Three Days to See' and have the comprehension questions finished by Thursday.

In addition to that, you must write a one page typed composition that answers this question: "If you found out that you only had three days left to see, what would you want to see?"
It will be due on Thursday.

Your first word of the day quiz will be this Thursday.


9B: You must read 'Three Days to See' and have the comprehension questions finished by Thursday.

Your first word of the day quiz will be this Thursday. You will have a comprehensive quiz over the words of the day on Friday.

If we have class on Friday, we will review the composition answers and discuss your compositions.

10th Grade Homework for 10/20-10/28

On Tuesday and Wednesday, we will be having a combined class where you guys will work on your poster projects. These projects will be both an extra credit opportunity as well as an actual grade in the second half of the term.

They will be due in the beginning of the class on Thursday.

10A: Due this Thursday: The comprehension questions for The Bells. We will be going over the answers together in class on Thursday. Your first word of the day quiz will be next Monday.

10B: Due Monday: The comprehension questions for The Bells. You will also have a word of the day quiz on Monday over the words from the weekend.

On WEDNESDAY 10/28: You will be having a comprehensive test over Antigone. The test will contain comprehension questions and one passage identification and analysis. Begin studying for this NOW.

Answers for the last part of the final Antigone Worksheet

In the comments section of this post, I have put the answers to the rest of the Antigone comprehension questions. I want you guys to have time to study and prepare for the midterm, so you may print out the rest of these answers. After the midterm, however, you must copy them by hand into your notes and I will test you over all of Antigone.
