Due Monday 6/22:

POEM POSTER PROJECT
You must write a poem that is at least 15 lines long. This poem must be presented artistically on a poster or colored piece of paper. This poem must contain at least two of the poetic terms that I taught you. However, the poetic terms must be used throughout the poem, not just in one line.

This assignment is worth 25 points.

Rubric
Spelling, Grammar, and Length of the poem ___/5
The use of poetic terms/figurative language throughout the poem __/10
At least two poetic terms (i.e. metaphor, simile, imagery, refrain, symbol etc.)
The poem has a clear and intentional theme.

The artistic and creative visual presentation of the poem: ___/10
It should be bigger than an A4 piece of paper. It should be colorful. Its design should be related to the meaning of the poem.
